1. Page Names
This is controlled by the Permalinks setting – the default produces garbage URL’s which give no indication of the actual page or post content. However, its not particularly difficult to have every page URL show as a keyword-rich plain-English file name with an HTML extension! Make sure that you edit the permalink and try some thing new .. than using a garbage …
2. Meta-tag decription
There are several plugins that dynamically provides good Description meta-tags. Example we have Head meta desc plugin which will take up the first 20 or 30 words of your post
3. Keyword Meta-Tag
The keywords are the most important things for SEO and google has time only to see our keywords so be care full in selecting the keywords

5. Use of tag
When you see the word “tag” in wordpress dashboard … don’t ignore it .It also has the same meaning as a key word. So once you select few good keywords related to your blog then you can use it has a tag and meta tag .
7. Categories
Use them accordingly and wise … thats more than enough when considering this step … but dont underestimate this one ..
8. Maximize Blog & Ping Potential
There are services that scan blogs regularly for updates, and publish the recent updates. To derive the benefit of that, you need to add an expanded ping list to the Options / Writing / Update List. By default, WordPress only pings the Pingomatic service with new posts. There are a growing number of other distribution services that you need to be notifying, to get the best results.
9. Blog Search Engines & Directories
I have already said about submitting to search engine’s .. you can refer this here
You must manually submit your blog to at least 100+ top blog search engines and directories to gain maximum attraction.
10 . Make up things !!
Just try to make up things .. use your creativity … ( In this blog i don’t have ten points to say i just got 7 but made up to 10 .. check the numbers ..:p)
