Windows 7 Released To Tech Professionals..

This Thursday is the day that Microsoft has made its new Windows 7 OS(operating system) available to certain kind of IT professionals, some hardware manufacturers, and also the software developers.
Techy professionals who subscribe to Microsoft’s Tech-Net program can download the Operating System from today, like independent hardware and software vendors.
Volume Licensing business customers with Software Assurance subscriptions can download this Windows 7 starting from Friday.
Microsoft is eagerly watching Windows 7 to its industry partners and high-volume business customers weeks much ahead of the product’s oct. 22 public debut to ensure that it’s fully supported and bug-free for all users.
Gold or premium or Certified members of Microsoft’s Partner Program can get access to Windows 7 from August 16, while others like Action Pack subscribers get the windows 7 on August 23. September 1 marks the day when Volume Licensing customers who does not have Software Assurance subscriptions can also download the Release To Manufacturing, or final, version of this OS.
Price matters :
- The full version of this operating system( Home Premium) is priced at $199
- with an upgrade from Vista or other XP costs $119
- The full version of Windows 7 Professional priced at $299
- with upgrades going for $199
- Windows 7 Ultimate ’s price is $319
- with the upgrade version at $219.
The report says the Microsoft OS sale plunged 27 % in the last quarter of the year .. while this one is the latest hope for them.
