August 10th, 2009
Swine flu entered india a little late with out much publicity and slowly spreaded all over the country. The news started like ” First india flu death” then ” second” then “sixth victim” and goes on . The increase in the swine flu victims is mainly due to inadequate facilities found in indian government hospitals and the slow awareness of the indian people.
Swine flu is now mainly spreading in the hospitals where all public with flu symptoms go , shockingly doctors are even attacked by this swine flu . The government hospitals asks all flu suspected patients to be in one place which becomes headquarters for swine flu to spread.First flu death started in pune -a 14 year old girl and then one each in mumbai,Ahmedabad and Chennai and continues.
Swine flu test will take 20 to 24 hours to finish so the patients who have finished the swine flu test are to be quarantined well by the Indian hospitals till the results are published. In tamil nadu there are around 300 swine flu suspects out of which 40 are confirmed .The swine flu test in going on for the rest and the number seems to be increasing .
The swine flue test costs very high and time consuming one ..Indian treasure will run dry if the swine flu test has to be taken for one quarter of Indian population so all those who has cough and sneezes are not advised to go for a immediate swine flu test .First go to nearby clinic and test for the seasonal flu’s and take medicines according to the prescription then check out for the swine flu symptoms. If you have any swine flu symptoms obviously the doctor will advise you to go for the swine flu test so till then wait .
Parents are requested to put seasonal vaccines to their kids and teach the precaution steps to them.
