Swine flu is the general term of the dangerous pandemic disease in 2009 which is increasing rapidly all over the world. The official name of this flu is H1N1 flu which started to spread from the pigs . .
Its a respiratory disease and its spreaded via coughs and sneezes so the flu like patients must be isolated as they may become a potential threat to others.
Symptoms :
- runny nose or stuffy nose as usual for flu
- sore throat
- body aches
- headache
- fever, which is usually high
- coughs and smeezes
- vomiting and diarrhea
- fatigue or tiredness which can be worst
- loss of appetite
Precautions:
- Get regular flu vaccines as a precautionary step .
- keep yourself clean
- wash hands with hot water or use alcohol based gels
- cover when you cough or sneeze
- avoid being close with people who are sick
- stay back if you are sick and get tested for swine flu as soon as possible
In India swine flu’s increasing and now it has reached the southern part of india .. thats chennai. As chennai is now getting little rains it may cause seasonal flu’s which is normal ..but now if some one has any symptoms of seasonal flu they are recommended to test for swine flu.
IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR INDIANS:
Swine flu test must be done only in government hospitals which are specially working now. Not in any private sectors.
Swine flu tests will take around 24 hours and i heard that some private clinics in chennai are testing swine flu for 750 rupees in few hours which is illegal and fraud.
